After months of deliberating, I finally decided to get my podcast going again.
Initially, I set out to hit 100 episodes (I only made 30). I also wanted to use this podcast to talk about interesting topics that I had read or watched or learned about. Plus use it to help me break out of my comfort zone and finally interview interesting people I look up to and learn from.
I never got there. I interviewed one person. And not long after, life happened, other things became more important to me, setting up my “studio” became annoying.
I became time poor.
Then the pandemic happened. Then I gained a little extra time (amongst the restructuring of my life and business). And after a day of contemplation, staring at the wall, thinking how strange all this covid-19 stuff is, jumping through all the hurdles involved in the regular stages of what-the-f-is-happening-and-what-the-f-is-gonna-happen, I finally blew the dust off my Evernote, opened the file filled with a huge list of ideas for topics I’d like to learn more about, discuss, and people who I really would love to have the courage to call and chat to, and started pulling out the ideas that I hadn’t lost interest in during this 11ish month hiatus.
I also decided to try filming each episode I record this time around. It does make it a little weird. Staring into a tiny lens has never made much sense to me. But I do have cool LEDs in the background.
Here is episode 32, in case you are interested:
Anyway, let’s see if I make the 100 this time. And let’s see if I finally do break that wall down and contact some of those people on my list.
